Our company has three usual mainstream service areas.
A. - Full Service
Here you would expect us to perform all of the functions similar to an in-house franchise department.
· Function as your “arms’ length” franchise department. · Receive, contact, inform and follow-up all franchise enquiries. · Meet with serious candidates and obtain their personal information. · Provide all necessary documents required by your company or local regulations. · Inform and qualify candidates. · Introduce serious qualified individuals or groups to you. · Where mutual interest exists, perform in-depth investigation of candidates. (This might include credit checks, personality testing, reference contacts, etc.) · Work with prospects’ legal and financial advisors and answer their questions. · Attend for signing of all franchise documents. · Develop a business plan and budget for the newly signed franchisees. · Assist in introducing the franchisees to lenders to obtain financial loans or borrowings to finance their launch operation. (These might include banks, commercial lenders, private investors, etc.)
To do this, a full marketing plan would be developed with you. We would:
· Define your market segment. · Developing a franchisee profile. · Explore avenues to uncover prospective franchisees. · Set-up realistic goals for the initial year and develop five year program. · Help to analyze services needed within your company to support and lead your expansion. · Develop budget details annually. · Assist in the creation of an advertising program. · Assist your professional advisors in establishing practical, effective legal documents. · Write/refine or assist in creating a sizzling franchise information package. · Implement the advertising program which could involve any or all of: -newspaper ads -trade publication ads -advertorials -trade shows -electronic site (website and links) -seminars/information seminars
Real Estate
In some cases, you may wish us to assist in this area. This service can be available on call through specialists with whom we have a working relationship.
B. - Consulting
Your need may be for a specific task, function or assignment rather than a full service association.
Our experience - having successfully been both a Franchisor and a Master Franchisee - allows us to call on operation experience and to complement it with specialized associates as required.
In many cases, clients have found our pragmatic analysis and advice allows them to strengthen or refine their organization to meet challenges or needs. Many times this has lead to an ongoing, evolving association with the client.
In other instances we’re approached by individuals or groups who wish our assistance in sourcing and negotiating a franchise (whether it be a single, area or master franchise or an international master).
Our experience encompasses North America (U.S. and Canada), Europe, Great Britain and even the Middle East.
C. - SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS
Resale
Because of our active involvement in the franchise industry and franchisors’ experience on the high caliber of candidates we present, in many cases when a system or individual franchisee has a resale situation, we are asked to assist. This request may come from our individual franchisee or from the franchisors themselves.
Investment
From time to time a client will find a short or long term need for capital infusion or investment. The challenge is always to obtain this without giving away a major ownership portion and hence the rainbow in the future.
Our contacts allow us to introduce potential lenders, public and private, which might match your needs.
Summary
